Kentucky Grain Crop Marketing and Risk Management
Dr. Grant Gardner
Thanks for visiting my site!
I am an assistant extension professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Kentucky. I focus on crop marketing and risk management. I also dabble in other projects that interest me including farm management, bourbon, and natural resources as they pertain to farm production. I grew up on a corn and soybean operation in Vincennes, Indiana. Growing up on a farm in a rural community, I developed a strong passion for Agriculture. I graduated with my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Kansas State University in 2017, 2019, and 2022, respectively.
I am strongly interested in all things related to grain crop production and economics. I primarily use this site to reference presentations and other items for the general public. I additionally use this site to host projects in development.
As I am primarily in an extension position, my passion is aiding others. If I can do anything to help you, please do not hesitate to reach out!
